Well Testing Description

Basic Function:

The Frac Support Operator/Well Test Operator has the responsibility of assembly, operation, disassembly and maintenance of all equipment associated with this job task (aluminum and poly pipeline and manifolds, Frac pumps, separator, choke manifolds, sand traps, iron, vehicles and heavy equipment.)

Employment Requirements:


Must have valid driver's license with a clean 5 year MVR (Required)
Must be able to pass a background and drug test (No Tolerance Policy for Drugs or Alcohol).
Must have reliable transportation to Main Office for training in WY (we provide housing for traveling employees).
Must be able to Lift, Pull, & Drag 100 lbs.
Must be available nights, weekends, holidays, & overtime (OT is where your make the $).
Rotating shifts, two weeks on two weeks off (work 6 months a year!).
Must be able to travel to in WY, ND, TX or CO-Depending on where employee is needed (housing will be provided).
CDL a plus (not required).

Essential Duties:

Including the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Assembles, maintains and monitors all equipment required to perform job task.
  • Connect pipelines between pumps and storage containers.
  • Operates power driven pumps for the transfer of liquids.
  • Transfers materials to and from storage tanks, processing tanks and trucks.
  • Observes pressure gauges and flow meters, adjusts valves and throttles to regulate speed of pumps and control pressure and rate of flow of transferred material.
  • Performs maintenance and maintenance recordkeeping as required and requested.
  • Inventories quantities from storage tanks.
  • Records quantities of materials transferred.
  • Determines weight and density of fluids.
  • Adherence to all company safety policies and practices.
  • Attendance at all required safety meeting as well as any scheduled training classes.
  • Punctuality and ability to stay focused on job tasks.
  • Ability to communicate with fellow co-workers as well as supervisors.
  • Able to work in remote locations for two week periods or longer in some cases.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from our main location in Casper Wyoming.
